Audie Maze
BLOOMFIELD -- Audie F. Maze, 82, died Oct. 18, 2012, at Dexter.
Born June 17, 1930, in Goreville, Ill., to the late Ira Franklin and Hester Ramsey Maze, he had lived in Bloomfield for the last 20 years and attended the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter. He worked in construction before retiring and had also served in the U.S. Army.
On Feb. 11, 1955, in Elgin, Ill., he married Juanita L. Moreland who preceded him in death April 1, 1998.
He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Deborah K. Maze, three brothers, Carlyle Maze, Evert Maze and Kenneth Maze, one sister, Geneva Marton, and one granddaughter, Ginny Maze.
Survivors include: two sons, Curtis C. Maze of Bloomfield and Gary Maze of Hampshire, Ill.; two brothers, Harold Maze and Bill Maze of the state of Illinois; two sisters, Ruby Draham and Barbara Sugius of the state of Illinois; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. Monday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
