PORTAGEVILLE -- William "Bill" Gremard, 66, died Nov. 1, 2012, at Portageville.
Born Sept. 25, 1946, in Sikeston, to the late Emma Covey and Jimmie A. Gremard Sr., he was active in local Boy Scouts and held many local and regional positions. He was a retired electrical engineer from AT&T and was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served on many boards.
Survivors include: one son, Will Gremard of Portageville; one daughter, Crystal Miller of St. Louis; two sisters, Laura Barrilleaux of Kenner, La., and Dinah Lawrence of Garland, Texas; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy A. Gremard Jr., and a sister, Cynthia Peschel.
Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Barron Willer officiating.
Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
