Sikeston will be well represented at All-District Choir performance

SIKESTON - A dozen Sikeston High School students will stand on stage Saturday performing the works of European and American composers.

While veteran performers, this concert will be different. This time their voices will blend with singers from schools across Southeast Missouri as they perform as part of the 2012 Southeast Missouri Music Educators Association's All-District Choir.

The number of participants from Sikeston, according to Abe Leach, Sikeston High School choral music instructor, appears to be a record for the school.
