SEMO North All-Conference team released
A number of Sikeston Bulldog football players were selected as SEMO North All-Conference recipients following a 9-2 season.
The SEMO North consists of Sikeston, Jackson, Cape Central, Poplar Bluff and Farmington.
Representing the offense, quarterback Kyland Gross was given the nod, as was running back Chris Word and offensive lineman Blake Flannigan.
Head coach Kent Gibbs was dubbed the conference coach of the year.
Offensive lineman Taylor Barnes and Michael Burdin were picked as honorable mention selections.
On defense, defensive lineman Nick Nichols was named lineman of the year. Linebacker Blake Flannigan and defensive backs Spencer Clark and Kyland Gross were also part of the defensive team.
Defensive lineman Chris Word, Peyton Boyd and Damonj Wilson were given an honorable mention nod as was linebacker Aundrea Golden.
