CHARLESTON -- Twenty area residents were arrested following a warrant roundup Monday in Mississippi County.
Mississippi County Sheriff's Department deputies along with Sheriff Keith Moore began working in the early Monday morning hours executing outstanding warrants. During the roundup, one subject received additional charges of possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia when drugs were located in the residence.
"The roundup was very successful," Moore said. "We still have a few more outstanding warrants to serve. I am very proud of the team word demonstrated by the officers working this roundup."
