JACKSON -- Kimberly "Kim" King, 53, formerly of Delta, died Dec. 27, 2012, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
Born Aug. 23, 1959, in Kittery, Maine, to Nelda Jean Sparkman Schwepker of Delta and the late Larry Don Schwepker, she worked as a business manager at Facilities Management for Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills.
On Dec. 31, 1987, she married R. Bruce King who survives of the home.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include: her stepfather, Ivis Kinder of Delta; one son, Robert Forest King of Jackson; one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah River and Colton Schwab of Ozark, Ala.; one brother, Bryan Kinder of Chaffee; and her grandmother, Viola Kinder of Delta.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Mildred Sparkman, Frank Kinder and Adath Schwepker.
Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev.Kevin Olson will officiate.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
