DEXTER -- George Eldon Waggoner, 76, died Jan. 3, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Dexter.

Born Feb. 11, 1936, in Dexter, to the late Cecil Elmer and Edith Lenora Perry Waggoner, he was a member of the Army Reserves and a lifelong resident of Dexter.

He is survived by three daughters, Rhonda Sherman, Donita Lintz and Candy Miller of Dexter; one brother, Gordon Waggoner of Bloomfield; four sisters, Dorthy McClard, Arlene Eubanks and Reva Raymo of Dexter and Marjorie Waggoner of Poplar Bluff; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hiland Waggoner and Merlin Waggoner; and one sister, Joyce Eskew.

Visitation is from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Jim Hoyt officiating.

Burial will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery in rural Dexter.
