DUDLEY -- Mack Mullins, 66, died Jan. 17, 2013, at his home.
Born March 11, 1946, in Grundy, Va., son of Madie Stiltner Mullins of Dudley and the late Vince Mullins, he had lived in Chicago and moved to Dudley in 1975. He was a board member of the People's Full Gospel Church and was a Mason member in Bloomfield. He worked as the police chief for the Department of Veteran Affairs and had worked for the city of Dudley for nearly 37 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
On Aug. 27, 1967, in Dyer, Ind., he married Frances Lucille Minyard who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Cynthia Nordin of Dexter; two sons, Michael Mullins and Shawn Mullins of Dudley; two sisters, Mary Ann Blieze of Chicago and Vadie Tullis of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Burial with full military honors will be in the Dudley Cemetery.
James Tipton and longtime friend Dennis Fowler of Poplar Bluff will officiate.
