Sikeston native will march with Honor Guard in inaugural parade

SIKESTON -- Those who watch the nation's 57th Presidential Inauguration may want to keep an eye out for a Sikeston native.

On Monday Airman 1st Class Stephanie Avery will represent her hometown and the U.S. Air Force as she takes part in the 2013 presidential inaugural parade in Washington, D.C.

Avery is one of 80 members of the Honor Guard flight who will march with the 99-piece U.S. Air Force Band along the 1.5-mile route that begins at 4th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue and goes past the White House.
