CHAFFEE -- Julia Sutterfield led with 19 points and Ellie Sigman added 14 as the Chaffee Lady Devils defeated visiting Oran 48-34.
Allie Cummins paced Oran (7-8) with 12 points.
The Lady Devils (9-7) were down by two after the first quarter and then 21-20 at the half. But a strong second half -- outscoring Oran 28-13 -- rocketed Chaffee to the win.

NEW MADRID -- A dominant start from the New Madrid County Central Lady Eagles led to a 82-25 thrashing of the Malden Lady Wave Tuesday.
NMCC opened the game on a 43-0 run and led 49-2 at halftime.
Benesha Childress, the newest all-time leading girls scorer for NMCC, added to her career total with 22 points. Karen McGloson added 18 while Aqwanness Johnson chipped in 15 as well.
PATTON -- Taylor Cureton sank four 3-pointers and totaled 21 points to help the Panthers pick up the win at home.
Hayley Thorne added 14 points for Meadow Heights (10-10).
Machela VanGennip accounted for 75 percent of the offense for Delta (3-13) with a game-high 30 points.

DESOTO -- The Sikeston Bulldogs wrestling team took second place over the weekend at a tournament in Desoto.
"We wrestled really well as a team with all wrestlers contributing to the team score," Sikeston head coach Chris Lowe said. "Very proud of all the wrestlers that competed it was a total team effort."
Sikeston will travel to Dexter to take on both the Bearcats and New Madrid County Central. That will be their last match before districts.
