Mandated 'training' is just brain washing

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

When Rush Limbaugh said last week he was "ashamed" of this country for the first time, I cringed thinking of the all-too-predictable liberal backlash.

But then a hidden nugget of pure lunacy crossed by desk.

And I understand Limbaugh's frustration, disappointment and anger.

The following is beyond belief.

When you think of the United States Department of Agriculture, don't think farmers.

Think food stamps.

Following a whistleblower tip and a Freedom of Information request, the feds have reluctantly released a video of a sensitivity training session mandated for USDA employees.

The USDA employees are made to repeat the following:

"If we work for a federal agency, we have discriminated in the past against African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans and other groups."

And this is the new America?

Just keep in mind that your tax dollars - the ones you earned by making sacrifices like missing dance recitals and ballgames - are paying a leftist indoctrination of federal employees.

Your tax dollars have funded over $3 million for this leftist, racist agenda - including $200,000 last year.

The indoctrination teaches federal employees that America stole the southwest portion of this country from Mexico and that the Pilgrims were "illegal aliens."

Other federal agencies have too forced their employees to attend these "cultural transformation" training sessions.

Had a federal employee not balked at the indoctrination and a conservative watchdog group not fought to gain access to the video, you would never have heard of this hogwash.

The radical left group sponsoring the training says the sessions help to boost the "emotional intelligence" of the federal employees.

And just to repeat myself, we the taxpayers are funding this astonishing brain-washing program.

The comparison of this mandated "training" with the indoctrination of Nazi Germany is striking and frightening.

The truth is that we the people have a decreasing voice in the direction of this country. And those who currently own the bully pulpit have an agenda that is anti-American and hell bent on the transformation of this nation into something unrecognizable.

Imagine the day when this "sensitivity training" is part of the school curriculum.

Unlike Rush Limbaugh, I am not ashamed.

I am angry. And I bet I am not alone.
