KIRBYVILLE -- William Davidson "Bill" Crutchfield, 74, died Feb. 26, 2013, at his home.

Born Nov. 9, 1938, in Bernie, son of the late Ralph and Viola Davidson Crutchfield, he attended school in Bernie before moving to St. Louis, where he worked for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft as a machinist and welder for five years. He then became an over-the-road truck driver and lived in Wentzville for many years. He retired from trucking in the early 1990s and moved to Branson where he worked at the Jim Stafford Theater as a shuttle driver.

Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, James and Debbie Crutchfield of Eufaula, Okla.; two daughters, Pamela Hurst of Dexter and Jackie Lynn Crutchfield and partner, Tina Hurst, of Greenwood, Neb.; two brothers, Dawsey Crutchfield of Branson and Dennis Crutchfield of Vanduser; and nine grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Kissee-Schofield-Eakins Funeral Home in Forsyth with Larry Kackley, chaplain, officiating.

Burial will be private.
