New program gives chance to see job opportunities in healthcare

SIKESTON -- A new program will give young men and women in the Sikeston and surrounding area the chance to explore the various job opportunities in healthcare -- before even setting foot in college or enrolling in a training program.

Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston and Boy Scouts of America are partnering together to offer "Medical Exploring" through the Scouts' Real-World Career Experiences' Exploring program, which offers real-world experiences for 14- to 20-year-olds.
