Fundraisers set for Scott County Relay for Life

SIKESTON -- Several Relay For Life teams in Scott County are gearing up to host fundraisers in the coming weeks.

Shannon Clay, publicity chair for Scott County's Relay, encouraged others to makes plans now to attend one -- or multiple -- fundraisers that benefit the American Cancer Society.

The theme of this year's organized, overnight community fundraising walk is "Dream Big, Hope Big, Relay Big."

"No previous experience with Relay is necessary to be involved or to attend. You don't have to be part of a team," Clay said.
