SIKESTON -- Youngsters at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School were eager to participate in this year's Missouri's "Great Central U.S. ShakeOut" poster contest. After all, last year, two of their classmates were selected as statewide winners.

"They were so excited to submit posters this year," said Debra Pollock, the school's principal.
