BENTON -- Sikeston voters went to the polls and elected two school board members for the Sikeston R-6 District on Tuesday. Incumbent Scott Crumpecker received 1,031 votes in Scott County to receive the most votes. He also received 254 votes in New Madrid County...

BENTON -- Sikeston voters went to the polls and elected two school board members for the Sikeston R-6 District on Tuesday.

Incumbent Scott Crumpecker received 1,031 votes in Scott County to receive the most votes. He also received 254 votes in New Madrid County.

Also elected to the R-6 board was Rebecca Steward. Steward garnered 872 votes in Scott County, defeating Gay French with 778 votes. They also received the following New Madrid County votes: French, 148; and Steward, 163.
