SIKESTON -- The Sikeston Bulldogs fell 9-0 to the visiting Dexter Bearcats on Wednesday.
Two of the afternoon's six single pairings ended up in 8-0 shutouts while Christian Rehder came closest to a win. He fell to Kyle Willis 8-6.
On the junior varsity side Bulldog' double partners Davion Davis and Tre Warfield picked up the team's only win a 8-1 loss to the Bearcats.
Next up, Sikeston will host Notre Dame on Monday at 4 p.m.

ANNA JONESBORO, Ill. -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs soccer team played to only their second draw of the season on Tuesday, playing the Anna-Jonesboro, Ill. Lady Wildcats to a 1-1 finish.
Madison Chaney followed up her hat trick performance the day prior with a goal at the 10 minutes mark against Anna-Jonesboro to give the Lady Bulldogs a 1-0 advantage.
The Lady Wildcats answered 15 minutes before the half with a shot in the low corner of the net to ties things back up, 1-1. Though both teams had opportunities in the second half, neither team found the net again in regulation.
Since their is no overtime in games played in Illinois the result stood as a tie.
Now at 6-9-2, Sikeston will host Marion, Ill., tonight with junior varsity action starting at 5 p.m.
OAK RIDGE -- Pounding out 10 hits on Wednesday the Chaffee Red Devils defeated Oak Ridge 11-3.
Chaffee took an early lead with a four-run rally in the top of third inning and added to it in each of the next two frames to pull ahead 7-1. Two runs by Oak Ridge in the bottom of the fifth inning closed their deficit to four, 7-3, but a four-run outburst by the Red Devils in the sixth put the game out of reach.
Jared Walker and Jimmy Golden led Chaffee's effort with two hits each. Walker hit the game's only triple while driving in three runs and scoring two.
Devon Yahn and Chance Tenkhoff each contributed a double.
Cody Johnson picked up the win on the mound, going four inning where he allowed one run on six hits and two walks. He struck out five.
