I just want to thank the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for having the veterans and their families for lunch on Memorial Day. It was really good. Thank you again, ladies.

Cable caller

I would like to respond to the person who keeps calling in about Charter and the TV keeps going off and the cable keeps going off. Mine has been doing that for the last two years, too, and I have not called in about it. But I have called Charter over and over again and I do agree along with this person. I have called them and they do not do anything about it. I do think they owe us all something as their customers.

Quiet, please

I moved one year ago to New Madrid. This holiday was the most uncalled for noise I've ever heard. I will not be here next year for the holidays. The law does nothing to quiet these people down I'm the same race and very ashamed of what went on. Shame on you loud people and shame on New Madrid police. They don't uphold the loud noise ordinance. You are all disgusting.
