MINER -- At a time in life when many would be relaxing on a couch, a Miner man is still pulling his weight -- along with another 30 tons.

Featured as "Motorsports Heavy-Hitter Oz Hay" on the cover of the April 2013 edition of The Puller, a monthly publication of the National Tractor Pullers Association, Hay is pictured at the wheel of "Nitro-Holic," his 1918 Chevy truck.

"It's the national publication for Grand National pulling," Hay said.

NTPA's Grand National Division includes about a dozen divisions ranging from farm stock to trucks with about as many engines on them as will fit.

"Some run five of those $80,000 engines on one vehicle," Hay said. "One fella had six."
