RISCO -- The Tri-County summer baseball team exploded for 16 runs against Bloomfield Tuesday at Risco High School for a 16-2 win in five innings. Tri-County (3-0-1) scored just one run in the first inning and then put the hammer down for 10 runs in the third. Five more in the fourth put the game completely out of reach...

RISCO -- The Tri-County summer baseball team exploded for 16 runs against Bloomfield Tuesday at Risco High School for a 16-2 win in five innings.

Tri-County (3-0-1) scored just one run in the first inning and then put the hammer down for 10 runs in the third. Five more in the fourth put the game completely out of reach.

Behind six hits from his offense, Tri-County pitcher Reid Morgan received the win after two innings on the hill. Morgan struck out two, walked one and allowed one hit.

Jordon Pavy led Tri-County nearly hitting for the cycle. Pavy went 3 for 3 with a double and a triple to go with four RBIs. Ace Armstrong added a double to Tri-County's hit total.

Tri-County will begin a 16-team, double elimination tournament Thursday at South Pemiscot High School. They will play South Pemiscot in the first round at 4 p.m.
