SCOTT CITY -- The Scott County Senior Legion Post 369 baseball team had to call it quits after 12 innings Wednesday.

Tied with Jackson's Senior Babe Ruth 11-11, an umpire working the game had to leave due to his work schedule leaving the two teams in a deadlock.

Scott County tied the game at 11 with one run in the eighth inning.

Dominic Hooper, Scott County's starting pitcher, pitched for 5 2/3 innings giving up seven runs, five earned, and struck out five. Logan Henson, who pitched for four innings and struck out seven, was on the mound when the game was called.

Hopper also led Post 369 with four hits and two runs scored. Trent Pobst had three hits and five RBIs.

Scott County will play again Sunday at 2 p.m. against Marble Hill at Scott City.
