SIKESTON -- For one local re-enactor, getting to Gettysburg was half the fun.
Dylan Smith, 18, was among the dozen members of Rick Justice's 10th Tennessee Cavalry that made the trip to participate in the 150th Gettysburg Re-enactment -- but he did not make the drive with the main group.
Smith was at the yoke of a Cessna 172 airplane flying himself, two unit members, Spence Vaughn and David Burch, and "Cajun," a re-enactor from Tennessee, for the journey to the event.
