A musical note

Is there anybody out there that can turn my cassette music into a disc? If so, call 475-5612.

Way to go, Mike!

I'm so proud of you Michael Jensen. My heart is just pounding and bursting with pride at your article, "Prejudice is more than just one word." Bravo for you! You are a good man.

Can they pass the test?

Should state and county and city employees that run our cities, run our counties and teach our children be drug tested? They are supplied with the best insurance, the best benefits. They are not required to be drug tested. They teach our children. They run our counties. They take our taxpayers' dollars. Would the taxpayers be in favor of them being drug tested? This is just a question for all the taxpayers of the tri-state area. Should people that work for the city, the county, the state and the clerks in the courthouses, should they be drug tested? Some of these people do not have to report to work or even go to work. They come and go as they please. Taxpayers pay their salaries. There is no drug testing that I know of that is being done to these employees. They are being paid top dollar, have the best benefits and a lot of them don't even go to work and are being paid by the taxpayers. If you are in favor of these people being drug tested, I ask you to write your representative, write your governor. Other people have to be drug tested. Why do these people have a different set of rules than the rest of us working people? There should be no exceptions to having drug tests, no matter where you work or what your job is. Government employees are no better than the rest of us. They do not deserve to be treated any different than the rest of the working people.
