Not greatest show on earth

I want to complain about the circus we had here in town. This is the first thing that Sikeston has ever let happen during rodeo week. It's no good. The show didn't last an hour. This is the worst circus I have ever, ever been to and I won't be back to another one that comes here to Sikeston again.

Just blowin'

Hey Mike, I see that the city council does not care about them blowing trash out into the street, the trash and the grass. And it's all over town. It fills all the drains, sewage, and we have to have people go and clean it out. I cannot really believe that anybody can't see that their property don't look good with trash mowed out in front of their house. All they'd have to do is turn their mower around and blow it back up the other way. For some reason, they haven't got it together enough to turn it around. And they sure don't care for it being out in the street. I hope the city council will read this and take care of the problem. I know there is a law against it, but they don't pay any attention to it. I think the city council must not care.

Cut out the middle man

I see where our city council's firm that they hired to recruit a city manager has placed the ad on Missouri Municipal League. I wonder why our city council just didn't do that and it wouldn't have cost them anything. Now we are probably gonna be out $27,000 as taxpayers. Brilliant move city council.
