SIKESTON -- In an effort to keep pets safer, microchip clinics are planned in Sikeston later this month and Morehouse next month.
Set for 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Sikeston Area Humane Society and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 12 during the Morehouse Fall Fest, the clinics are part of the Humane Society's new community outreach program.
"We want to give back to the city of Sikeston and all the other small towns who've helped us out," said Trace White, director of the Sikeston Area Society.
