Oran man arrested on firearms, drug charges

BENTON -- A man with an "extensive criminal history" is facing more charges.

A vehicle driven by Joshua Lee Rogers, 27, of Oran was stopped Monday by Scott County Deputy Jody Chaney near Oran. According to Sheriff Rick Walter, because Oran Police Chief Gregg Ourth was conducting a related investigation on a case involving Rogers, the two agencies coordinated to make the arrest that day.
