SIKESTON -- Looking back 10 years, there are a lot of changes when it comes to social media.

"Online commerce has grown rapidly in the past decade," said Kaitlin Ray, program director for the Sikeston Regional Chamber. "There are so many ways to tout our businesses outside the area."

And the guest speaker at the Chamber's membership luncheon on Thursday gave an overview of different types of social media. Stacy Dohogne Lane, director of public relations for the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau, who spoke to the group on behalf of the Southeast Missouri State University Douglas C. Greene Center from Innovation and Entrepreneurship, presented information to the group.
