Bring it back downtown

I'm wondering why the Cotton Carnival can't be moved back downtown? It's a mud waller out there at the rodeo grounds. People would shop at the shops downtown which would help Sikeston.

How far north up 55 does Miner city limits go? I saw a Miner cop almost at the 70 mile marker on the interstate. Boy, they are kinda like Cairo. Cairo's city limits are almost to Carbondale. I guess between the Benton police and the Scott City police, they've got this interstate taken care of.The Miner police and the Scott City police have the radar traps all the way from the Sikeston exit to the Cape exit.

Killing burs

If you have sand burs, you need to put fertilizer on them and that will kill them. They can't take fertilizer.
