Thanksgiving prep

Marlene Stevens prepares to put her 12th pumpkin pie in the oven Monday as part of her preparation for the annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner. The free meal includes turkey, dressing, green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, ham, rolls and dessert. The public can dine-in beginning at noon Thursday at the VFW Hall in Sikeston. Those who wish to have a meal delivered must call meal organizers before 6 p.m. Wednesday.
