Construction is underway on the Three Rivers College campus in Sikeston.
An aerial view of the Three Rivers Eastern Campus, located at the intersection of Highways 60 and 61 at Sikeston, shows the campus beginning to take shape. Ground was broken at the site in August with the bid for construction awarded in October. When completed in 2014, the new facility will provide room for 1,500 students. It will include classrooms, a computer lab, science labs, nursing education facilities, and an exhibit hall/auditorium. The Eastern Campus will also allow Three Rivers to expand its degree and workforce-development offerings for Sikeston-area students, including its LPN-to-RN Bridge program, college officials said. It will replace the Center at Sikeston, which is currently at maximum capacity. (Photo by Keith Hente)
