County residents have cleared storm damage
BENTON -- Life has pretty much returned to normal in areas of Scott County damaged by the tornado and storm winds last week, according to county officials.
Tom Beardslee, emergency management director for the county, reported to the Scott County Commission during their regular meeting Tuesday the results of a third survey of the county conducted by him with the assistance of charitable organizations.
Beardslee has been organizing the surveys of areas damaged by the tornado and storm winds early last week to keep track of what has been cleaned up and what still needs to be addressed.
