Speakout

Inner beauty

This is to the man who is looking for a slim single. I hope someday he finds what he's looking for. Beauty is on the inside, not on the outside. Some people judge a book by it's cover and when they get what they got, it's not what they thought they had. So good luck to him finding a slim, petite woman. In other words, I hope he never does.

Don't look, Ethel!

I want to speakout about the newspaper which has started to put pictures in it that should be in these trashy movie magazines instead of our local newspaper. On page two of the Thursday paper, the first thing you see when you turn to it is this gal half naked in the picture. I've been noticing this and I'm getting very tired of it. This is not a movie magazine or the Enquirer. It happens to be our newspaper. If it doesn't stop, I am gonna get rid of my subscription I have had for years. And I just want to say that the Cape paper does not put this garbage in it. I've been noticing this paper just keeps increasing it. You would think it was a durn movie magazine and they need to get out and get some local news for us instead of this trash. And that's what I want to say.

All talk, no action

Reading in Wednesday's paper how Jason Smith says coal is a vital part of our state's economy, how the EPA is bringing in taxes and regulations on our coal fired power plants. Well Jason Smith, you say a lot of stuff but you don't do anything. You'll do just like your mama, Jo Ann Emerson, and you will vote the EPA a budget. Do something, don't just talk.
