Gas leak detected Tuesday morning

A Sikeston Department of Public Safety officer watches to prevent the public from getting near the General Nutrition Center off of South Main Street Tuesday morning after a gas leak was detected in the building. With the assistance from Liberty Utilities employees the leak was located and employees in the stores in the mall were able to return to work about 10:15 a.m. (Jill Bock, Staff)
