SIKESTON -- The storm that dumped heavy snow and ice across the region Thursday and Friday also forced several events to be postponed over the weekend.

However, many of these event organizers have already rescheduled for later this week.

Previously scheduled for Dec. 5, Santa Night hosted by the Sikeston Kindergarten and Preschool staff along with the Parents as Teachers Program will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Thursday at the Kindergarten Center.

"This is for anybody in our school district ages birth to kindergarten," said Principal Jenny Hobeck.
