Questions and answers

I agree with the lady that said no opinions anymore. If you don't want an answer to a question, then don't ask it. If you do ask it, accept what the Bible says and don't back down for answering it that way. I agree with that woman and pray for the ones that don't accept the word of God.

You're last

I don't know what is wrong with people. Those poor linemen and electricians are working day and night and they are away from their families for a long time. People are fussing and cussing and carrying on. I believe that the ones who are fussing should get their power on last. People are stupid.

The rest of the story

What the newspaper article didn't tell you - In the recent newspaper articles regarding the proposed school tax increase, it was mentioned that if you own a house that is assessed at $125,000 your tax would increase $185 per year. That is only part of the tax increase. What was not mentioned was the impact of the tax increase on your personal property. More than likely you will have a car or two, a pickup truck and maybe a boat, 4-wheeler or RV. Should those items be valued, say at $85,000, your yearly increase on real estate and personal property tax would be $406 per year. Based on a quick calculation, the payback on $32.3 million would be about 19 years. Do you want to vote yes on an increase that high for that long?

Call Charter

In response to "Get with the programming," about Charter Cable. Well, you need to call them. There's an 800 number in the phone book that you call and let them know your channels are out. Somebody has to let them know. Call them.

Bale me out

I just wonder if anybody had a couple bales of straw that they'd like to get rid of pretty reasonable. I'd like to put some around my pump so it won't freeze. If somebody does, put it in SpeakOut.
