Gifted at the Dollar Tree

I'm calling about the assistant manager, Michelle, at the Dollar Tree. Me and my now husband were getting married, we're a young couple. She found out we were having a hard time paying for everything. She followed us out on the parking lot and gave us a $20 bill out of the kindness of her heart. We go in there a lot. She's a real sweet lady. Please put her name and place of business in the paper because she deserves it. Just a very, very sweet woman.

Clean bill of health

I'm a little upset this morning. I have a family member that thinks I have staph on my body. I don't know if it's been spread around or not, but I want to make it very clear, I do not have staph on my body. I have nothing that is catching. I intend to get a letter from my doctor and put it up on the church wall or something that I do not have a skin disorder. I have psoriasis that I treat but it is not contagious. I am not nasty. I am a very clean person. Anybody that sits around and gossips about me having staph, well, I'm gonna pray for you.

Help the students

I was just now watching the news and they were talking about unemployment and everything and what all they was gonna have to do. Why don't you people stop and think about helping out these students that have these Pell grants and having to pay back and trying to work and make a living too. They've got it just as bad as everybody else.

Cold comment

You mean to tell me that this progressive wonderful town that we live in does not have a warming center except some church that you don't even know what they are. I guess this is only a town for the rich. You are making that perfectly clear that they are the only ones welcome here.

Seriously? Just look around. The generosity is everywhere in our community.
