JEFFERSON CITY - After the first two weeks for candidates to file for office, the races for state representative could all be in the August primary.

Sikeston's Holly Rehder, who is completing her first term as 148th District representative, has drawn an opponent on the Republican ticket. Duston Y. Stone of Scott City has also filed for the office, according to information from the office of State Secretary Jason Kander.

In the 149th District, Rep. Steve Hodges is not seeking another term due to term limits. Filed to replace him are Democrats, Morgan Copeland Nesselrodt of New Madrid and Bill Burlison of Wardell.

For the Republicans, Don Rone of Portageville has filed to seek the vacated seat.

Three Republicans have filed to serve as representative from the 151st District, formerly filled by Dennis Fowler, who resigned his position in December. Seeking the office are Amanda Jordan Brooks of Advance and Dexter residents Tila Hubrecht and Brandon A. Cooper.

The last day to file as a candidate for the primary election is March 25.
