Enjoying evenings at park

I would just like to express my thanks to Mr. Lynn Lancaster and Montgomery Bank for the beautiful Friday evenings at the park. We enjoyed it very much and looking forward to the next several Friday nights in the park.

Wrong is wrong

This is a comment on the leadership changes needed at the VA in the guest editorial in the Monday paper. This is a terrible situation. I agree with the man that wrote it. This has been going on for 10 years, from what I understand, so why hasn't someone checked into it before now? Why hasn't it not been exposed? And why are not the ones from the top down to the lowest employee, why aren't they all fired since they all knew they were doing it? I know it is following orders, but they knew it was wrong. They could have ignored it, done what was right and told someone.

Yards are a mess

There are several houses, especially on the west side, that the grass needs cutting. It is so high. Snakes and rats are running all over the place. On the 1300 block of West Murray Lane, the grass is so high. Someone needs to come take a look. There are cars all up in the yard and it's just a mess. I hope someone gets down here to take a look at it and start cleaning up this west side.
