Chad Allen Fieweger was born March 11, 1992 at Kennett, Missouri to Shawna Brasher Fieweger and Richard Paul Fieweger. He died at LaGrange, Texas, Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at the age of 22 years, 2 months and 24 days.

Chad attended Portageville schools and graduated March 26, 2010 from First Coast Academy of Jacksonville, Florida. He received training and was a member of the National Wildfire Team FFT II Fire training, Pack Test and CPR/First Aid Certification January 14, 2011. He received his certificate of Modern Basic Welding March 14, 2011. He obtained training and his CDL license with additional certification for flatbed January, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. He loved traveling and meeting different people. He sent many pictures of over 15 states home to family and friends over the past 7 months saying he would like to buy property in Washington or Oregon as he found them quite beautiful. Most of all, he loved his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Shawna Brasher Fieweger (Cullen Lyons) of Portageville, his father, Richard Paul Fieweger (Shelly Rundles) of Lilbourn, his grandparents, Lloyd "Buddy" and Tanya Brasher of Portageville, his great-grandmother, Connie Shankle of Portageville, his aunts, Connie Brasher and Monica Nolen (Patrick) both of Portageville, and Syble Mary Ruth Abbott of Florida, his uncles, Mike Fieweger and Jeff Fieweger (Tina) both of St. Louis, Daniel Helems of Lilbourn, Phillip Fieweger of Pinole, California (whom he had worked and stayed with in 2013), Scott Brasher of Portageville and Tim Brasher of New Madrid, many of his great aunts and uncles, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Paul "Pops" Shankle, Charles and Hazel Brasher, James Alton and Syble "Granny" Brock, and his grandparents, Mary Abbott and Glenn Fieweger.

Chad's ashes were placed in a personalized urn with a family memorial being held June 30, 2014. On the one-month anniversary of his death, July 4, 2014, after dark and a day of family gathering together remembering with pictures, stories and videos, two 3-foot blue memorial lanterns were lit in Chad's honor. The lanterns were videoed as they sailed past the moon and on to float up to 24 hours. The cousins want to make this an annual fourth practice as they enjoyed so many happy fourths together.

Chad really enjoyed computers, social media and all that technology as so many young people do. A memorial "forever" site has been set up as a virtual headstone for family and friends to visit, post memories, pictures, videos, songs, and messages for him or his family, now and for years to come. His family feels this would be a memorial he would be honored by. His family requests and encourages you to visit http://chad-allen-fieweger.forevermissed.com/ as it would be a comfort to them to hear your shared memories and pictures of Chad.
