A ribbon cutting was conducted July 14 to mark the opening of the Cowboy Outlet in the Sikeston Factory Outlet Stores, 100 Outlet Drive in Miner. Owned by Josh McCrimmon and managed by Ronda Huffman, the store offers apparel for the entire family. There are boots by Stetson, Ferrini, Tin Haul, Roper and Corral as well as apparel by Stetson, Roper, Petrol, Cowgirl Up and Tin Haul along with "lots of bling for the ladies," Huffman said, adding, "We carry the latest fashions so you don't have to be a Western person to shop here." Assisting Huffman at the store are staff members Linda Palmer, Tara Evans, Jordan Evans, Mandy Loftin and Abbie Thompson. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. According to Huffman, those who "like" Cowboy Outlet on their Facebook page will receive regular updates about new items being added to the store's merchandise. Huffman is pictured preparing to cut the ribbon. Also pictured are members of the Sikeston Area Chamber of Commerce and local Miner officials.
