__Records:__ NMCC 2-3; Caruthersville 3-2

__Series History:__ NMCC leads 20-10

__Last Meeting:__ 2013, Caruthersville won 42-0

__Last Week:__ NMCC defeated Charleston 72-30; Caruthersville defeated Dexter 40-20

__Outlook:__ Both NMCC and Caruthersville both discovered offense after sputtering in previous weeks. NMCC exploded for 72 points and gaining 715 yards, scoring on every drive but their last. The Eagles' Malik Stevenson (5-10, 170, sr.) and Mikael Walker (5-10, 175, sr.) both gained over 100 yards rushing with Stevenson tallying 196 yards and four touchdowns while Walker had 146 yards and a touchdown. NMCC cured their turnover woes last week after having 16 in their previous four games. The Eagles defense allows 34.8 points per game. The Tigers were averaging 20 points per game before doubling that last week. Caruthersville rushed for 400 yards against Dexter last week with quarterback Peyton Faulkner (5-9, 150, jr.) running for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Faulkner has thrown for 247 yards and two touchdowns. The Tigers are led in rushing by Daniel Fugate (5-9, 175, sr.) who gained 148 yards last week, giving him 576 yards and seven touchdowns. Caruthersville allows 28 points per game but just 13.6 points the last three games.

__East Prairie at Chaffee__

__Records:__ East Prairie 3-2; Chaffee 0-4

__Series History:__ Chaffee leads 45-34-3

__Last Meeting:__ 2013, Chaffee won 54-32

__Last Week:__ East Prairie lost to Malden 55-6; Chaffee lost to Scott City 28-6

__Outlook:__ East Prairie comes in with three wins, one more than they have had the previous three years combined. Last week the Eagles took it on the chin to high-powered Malden, allowing 49 first half points as the Green Wave dominated in the trenches. The Eagles could muster only 94 total yards against state-ranked Malden, 88 of those coming on the ground, giving them just 144 rushing yards the last two weeks. Adrian Soto (5-8, 171, sr.) scored the Eagles only touchdown last week with a 4-yard run in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Bret Ellis (6-0, 168, jr.) was held to just six passing yards last week, giving him 595 on the season with eight touchdowns. Running back Thomas Robbins (5-10, 171, sr.) scored his second touchdown of the season last week and leads Chaffee in rushing with 181 yards while Jake Perkins (5-10, 181, sr.) has gained 134 yards and leads the Red Devils with 30 tackles. Quarterback Jordan Wilburn (6-0, 170, jr.) has thrown for 153 yards and touchdown while throwing seven interceptions.

__Kennett at Dexter__

__Records:__ Kennett 2-3; Dexter 2-3

__Series History:__ Dexter leads 48-35

__Last Meeting:__ 2013, Dexter won 27-15

__Last Week:__ Kennett lost to Greene County Tech, Ark. 39-15; Dexter lost to Caruthersville 40-20

__Outlook:__ Dexter has won 14-straight games against Kennett, last losing to the Indians in 1999 (15-33). Kennett has dropped three-straight, including last week's 39-15 loss to previously winless Greene County Tech, Ark. Turnovers and special teams mistakes hurt the Indians last week as they trailed the entire game. Edward Wilson (5-11, 165, jr.) had 100 yards rushing last week while M.C. Hudson (5-9, 178, jr.) had 90 yards and one touchdown and Jahaida Childress (5-6, 160, jr.) had 60 yards and a score. Quarterback Heath Mchaney completed four passes for 11 yards, all to Anthony Hawkins (5-11, 160, sr.). Dexter had a letdown last week against Caruthersville just one week after defeating Sikeston. The Bearcats allowed 400 yards rushing and gave up 40 points, the most they had allowed all season. Dexter linebacker Noah Kronk (6-0, 199 sr.) and his 19 tackles was one of the few bright spots for the Bearcats defense that is now allowing 22.4 points per game. Dexter was held to just 68 rushing yards last week and 257 total yards. Quarterback Peyton Pollock (6-2, 190, sr.) leads the Bearcats in rushing with 309 yards and five touchdowns while adding 691 passing yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions. __Last Meeting:__ 2013, Portageville won 33-14

__Last Week:__ Scott City defeated Chaffee 28-6; Portageville defeated Hayti 34-18

__Outlook:__ Scott City placed Braden Cox (6-2, 188, so.) back at quarterback after starter Ty Wilthong (6-1, 182, so.) went down with an injury in Week 2, giving the Rams a threat to throw or pass. Cox ran for 153 yards last week and threw for an additional 94 yards and a touchdown as Scott City put up 337 total yards. Caleb Sykes (6-0, 195, sr.) ran for 87 yards and two touchdowns while Nick Bickings (5-8, 146, jr.) returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown. Austin Spriggs (6-2, 151, sr.) caught five passes for 55 yards and a touchdown for the Rams offense scoring 26 points per game. The Rams defense is allowing 30 points a game. Quarterback Jon Garrett Kellams accounted for four touchdowns last week, throwing for three and running for one. The junior threw for 104 yards and gained 51 yards on the ground, handling a bulk of the carries in place of a beat up Bulldog backfield. Running back Daniel McCray, battling a sore knee, gained 31 yards on seven carries while running back Will Crysler was injured on a catch in the first quarter last week. His status for Friday is unknown at press time. Freshman wide receiver Ian Torrey caught three passes for 24 yards and two touchdowns Friday night while McCray had two catches for 41 yards and one touchdown. The Bulldog defense held the athletic Indians in check last week, allowing only 253 yards while blocking two punts, returning one for a touchdown. They also forced three turnovers but were penalized 16 times for 127 yards.

__Kelly at Charleston__

__Records:__ Kelly 2-3; Charleston 0-5

__Series History:__ First meeting

__Last Week:__ Kelly defeated Fulton County, Ky. 41-0; Charleston lost to NMCC 72-30

__Outlook:__ Kelly continued to make history last week, earning their first road win and first shutout in a 41-0 pounding of the Fulton County, Ky. Pilots. Kelly led 19-0 at halftime and never let up in the second half to win going away. Running back Ethan Faries (6-0, 165, jr.) scored two second half touchdowns while quarterback Kyle Fitzgerald connected with wide receiver Dalton Huffman (6-3, 175, sr.) for a touchdown in the third quarter. Huffman also scored in the second quarter as did Maurice Davis (5-11, 150, jr.). The Hawks 41 points were their most of the season as they average 18.5 points per game. Charleston also scored their season high in points last week, putting up 30 against NMCC. Tyler Craig (6-3, 174, sr.) showed some explosiveness, scoring three touchdowns while rushing for 152 yards on just seven carries and returning a kick for a touchdown. Tennerious Ewing (5-6, 180, jr.) also scored a touchdown while gaining 142 yards on 25 carries. Quarterback Evan Burton (5-10, 160, jr.) will return this week after missing last week's game. While the Charleston offense is coming alive, the Bluejay defense has struggled this season, giving up over 700 yards and 72 points last week alone. For the season, Charleston has allowed over 60 points in all but one game and is giving up 60 points per game on the season.
