Oakland City University president to speak at church homecoming

EAST PRAIRIE -- Dr. Ray Barber, former pastor of the First General Baptist Church of East Prairie and current Oakland City University president, will deliver the First General Baptist Church of East Prairie's Sunday morning message.
Barber and his wife, Beth, have not been back to the church where he started in almost 40 years. Everyone is invited to visit and celebrate his return.
Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. and the morning church services at 10:45 a.m. with a luncheon following the services.
At 2 p.m., Highway 22, a Southern Gospel music trio from Mackenzie, Tenn., will perform.
