SIKESTON -- Those who've enjoyed the Downtown Sikeston Farmers' Market have more time to do so.

The market is open from 7 a.m. to sellout every Saturday at American Legion Park. This weekend apples, pears, baked goods and pumpkins are among the list of items planned to be sold at the market, according to Historic Downtown Sikeston Director Lynn Lancaster.

"It's been a wonderful, great season," Lancaster said. "We've had a record number of vendors and a large number of customers."

At its peak, the market had 30 or 35 vendors.
