BENTON -- Shanterra Waters scored a game-high 26 points but it wasn't enough to lift New Madrid County Central past Kelly on Thursday.

Kelly (16-5) won 61-44 behind Kaylee Scherer's double-double of 11 points and 15 rebounds. Stephanie Worth added 11 points and Logan Ivie scored 10. The Hawks have won three-straight.

Keisha Rainer chipped in 11 points for NMCC (9-11).

COOTER -- Fourth-seeded Gideon won the Tri-County Conference Tournament by outscoring No. 2 Clarkton 40-28 in the second half.

Clarkton led 35-27 at halftime.

Kason Lawrence scored a game-high 23 points for Gideon (17-6). Allen Earnhart added 15.

Clarkton (14-9) was led by Emmanuel White's 22 points. Trey Moore had 15 and Dante McBride chipped in 13.

ZALMA (SMNS) -- Dylan Keller sank 24 points, half of which came from behind the arc, as the Rams were able to pick up the road win.

Brock Uelsmann and Braden Cox both recorded double-doubles for Scott City (17-6). Uelsmann tallied 18 points and 11 rebounds, while Cox had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Trent Pobst added 10 points, nine assists and six rebounds, while Isiah Berry had 12 rebounds and four assists to go along with his eight points for the Rams.

Brent Overbey scored a game-high 36 points to lead Zalma (10-11).
