SIKESTON -- A high school junior is facing drug charges after being busted at school.

According to the Sikeston Department of Public Safety report, the 17-year old male was arrested Thursday morning at Sikeston High School.

"Apparently he came in late, went down to the office and smelt like marijuana," said Sikeston Department of Public Safety Capt. Bill Mygatt. "A school official checked him for contraband and found a bag containing a green leafy substance."

In addition to the "dime bag," the teen also reportedly had a partially smoked "blunt," which is a small cigar with tobacco removed from the center and replaced with marijuana.
