Jon Gregory "Greg" Corbett

Jon Gregory Corbett was born June 4, 1972 in Elwood, IN to Alan Corbett and Sharon Jefferies Darnall. He died Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Pemiscot County at the age of 42 years, 8 months and 3 days.

Jon was united in marriage to Tina Smith on August 12, 1994 in New Madrid. She survives of the home. He was a member of the First Church of God in Portageville and was employed y Nucor Steel in Blytheville, AR. He graduated from Portageville High School in 1990 and has remained a loyal "Bulldog" fan. He enjoyed fishing, Jon leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Tina Corbett of Portageville; his daughters, Haley, Reagan and Brenna Corbett, all of Portageville; his mother, Sharon Darnall of Portageville; his father, Alan Corbett of Indiana; his brothers, Brian Darnall of Hayti and Brandon Darnall of Portageville; his maternal grandmother, Imogene Jefferies of Portageville; his aunt, Donna Durbin of Portageville and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Services were held Monday, February 9, 2015 at the First Church of God in Portageville with Rev. Bob Kespelher officiating. Interment was at Portageville Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Ridge Starnes, Chance Howard, Bruce Jefferies, Michael Paul Jefferies, Brian Darnall and Brandon Darnall.
