Odell "Dell" Seal, age 85 of Piedmont, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Camelot Nursing and Rehab Center in Farmington, MO.
She was born July 18, 1929 in Washington County, MO the daughter of Roy and Bertha (Turnbough) Carl.
Dell worked in several restaurants and also for Brown Shoe Co. She was well know in Piedmont, operating a beauty salon and her antique business, the Heritage Antiques. She loved searching for antiques at flea markets and yard sales. Dell was very knowledgeable about antiques.
She was saved at an early age and was baptized at Center Point Baptist Church in Steelville. She was a charter member of Harvest Baptist Church and loved her church greatly. In recent years, she especially loved her pets, PJ, her dog and Boots, her cat.
Dell was married to Jerry D. Seal April 13, 1968 at Steelville, MO and he passed away March 18, 2011.
Also preceding her in death are her parents, Roy and Bertha Carl, one son, Charles "Sonny" Badgely, one step son, Charles Roger Seal, two brothers, Marvin and Paul Carl and three sisters, Mildred Gillam, Dorothy Darst and Maxine Carl.
Survivors include one step son, Scott Seal and his wife Linda, of Lilbourn, MO, one sister, Bonnie Plank and her husband Tom, of Park Hills, MO, two grandsons, Rodger Seal and Danny Badgely, two sisters in law, Melva Seal, of Piedmont, Pat Seal, of Tulsa, OK, and several nieces and nephews, including Jim and Tammy Seal of Piedmont and Judy Hale of Farmington.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Morrison-Worley Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the chapel.
Interment will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
Memorials have been suggested to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
