Preachers spread the wealth

In regards to the "Give God $500" in tonight's paper on March 23, I always thought you were suppose to give a tenth when you are working. And maybe these preachers are trying to help out people that are homeless or that are on the road with nothing to drive. I see a lot of people when I go to Cape. They are along the roadside of I-55 with a sign saying I will work for food or I need money for food or I will do yard work for food. A lot of these preachers, I think, are just trying to help people that are less fortunate then what the people in Washington are. They give themselves a raise every year and let the people in other areas do without. I really think the preachers have a good point. I think you should give to them and they can spread it around and give it to the homeless people that have no homes and no cars and have no food. I agree. Also while we are on the subject, maybe these preachers can help out the town of Morley and get a snowplow.

Master of language

I was hearing the news conference of President Obama with the President of Afghanistan. The President of Afghanistan is such an eloquent speaker. So rational in a language that is not his own. I would like to see one of our presidents be able to do that in their language. Never happens, does it?
