SIKESTON -- The Sikeston R-6 Board of Education reorganized and welcomed two members Tuesday during the monthly meeting at the district office.

The Board accepted the certified votes for the April 7 general election, which were as follows: Heather Drury, 1,563; Matt Tanner, 1,543; Chris Hodgkiss, 1,439; and Jay Elliott, 1,160.

Superintendent Tom Williams recognized retiring board members Hodgkiss and David Jones, who didn't seek re-election, for their service on the board from 2012-2015 and gave each a set of personalized glass book ends.
