OAK RIDGE -- Jordan Griggs struck out 13, Gavin Pobst hit three doubles and the Scott County Central Braves routed Oak Ridge 17-0 Monday in five innings on the road.
Griggs pitched a complete game and allowed one hit and three walks. He also had a double.
Pobst led the Braves (4-5) at the plate going 3 for 4. Steven Burton and Jacob Brown both had two hits including doubles. SCC had 11 hits and Oak Ridge (1-11) committed eight errors.

NEW MADRID -- Notre Dame won its 14th straight game Monday on the road against New Madrid County Central.
Adam Pope pitched a complete game giving up two earned runs and two walks. He also had four strikeouts. Palmer Campbell was the losing pitcher after five innings for NMCC (6-11). He gave up four earned runs on five hits and six walks. He struck out four.
Notre Dame (16-3) had nine hits led by Christian Job's two doubles. Drew Pikey and Landon Martinez each had two hits for NMCC.

OAK RIDGE -- Kelly Hahs hit a double and got on base both of her two times at bat and drove in two runs to lead the Blue Jays in the win at home over the Bravettes.
Jessica Hahs picked up the win in the circle for Oak Ridge (7-7). She pitched a complete game and allowed five earned runs with six strikeouts.
Hailey Kesler took the loss. She went the distance and gave up nine earned runs. She recorded eight strikeouts and walked nine while in the circle. She also doubled and drove in three runs to pace Scott County Central (0-7).

CHARLESTON -- The Scott City Lady Rams churned out 35 hits during a 22-run rout over Charleston.
Michaela Kiefer led Scott City (13-5) with a 6 for 7 performance at the plate which included two doubles. Kiefer also got the pitching win after a complete game effort. She gave up eight earned runs, walked nine and struck out 10.
Wendy Cross and Madyson McDermott each had two hits for Charleston (3-10). Cross had a double.
